Prayers for helping with Forgiveness

TIP: When praying, address God in a way that is comfortable with you, such as “Dear Heavenly Father”, “Dear God”, “Our Father” or similar respectful address.

Forgive Others

Help me to forgive others so that I can be a freer thinking person and allow my thoughts not to be frenzied, but calm; and allow me to see the good in others and not just the bad, so that I might understand them more.  

I ask that you help me now. Amen.

Forgive Yourself

Help me to forgive myself for the bad things that I have done in the past, and allow those that I have upset to think better of me and not feel so upset.

I ask that you help me now. Amen.
